On January 30, 2023 the MFA and 5G-ACIA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance the adoption of 5G private wireless networks in manufacturing and process industries.

The two organizations issued a press release about the potential for exchanging views and information through the development of joint deliverables.
