At this week’s Organizational Partner e-meeting, involving the leaders of 3GPP, the Automotive Edge Computing Consortium (AECC) has been accepted as a 3GPP Market Representation Partner (MRP).

The AECC will bring important experience into the project, via the consortium’s work on writing use cases for areas such as; intelligent driving, high definition maps, cruise assist and mobility services. These use cases bring requirements that will feed proposals for solutions to help 3GPP networks to support future automotive needs for data at the mobile edge.
