3G Americas, a market representation partner (MRP) in 3GPP, has highlighted the latest industry forecasts that there will be 458 Million UMTS-HSPA Mobile Broadband Connections Worldwide by the end of 2009.
In their Press Release today, 3G Americas’ President Chris Pearson stated:
“In the short period of two years since HSDPA was first launched on a wide scale basis in the U.S., the number of commercial HSPA mobile broadband networks now stands at 300 in 128 countries worldwide,”
