YesIt was commented by Erik (SA Chairman)that the purpose is to improve visibility of the 3GPP work, including reports from Rapporteurs that would for example,eventually be directed to the members of the press.
Erik commented that not using TEIx in SA5 is fine if this is for exclusive SA5 work that won’t be continued anywhere else. Everything that is done today is good, but it needs to be "raised up". He also pointed out that TEIx should be used when making corrections that spread throughout all Releases, and not OAMx, CHx, which differs from what is done in the rest of 3GPP groups. On the other hand, if the whole SA5 agreed on this, they could continue.
Any task that lasts longer than a quarter needs plenary approval and would require a WID.
Erik pointed out that the use of OAMx,CHx differs from the TEIx rules that are used in the rest of 3GPP.
Changes in the working methods of SA5 could be applied from Rel-15.
It was decided to note the document with the view of applying a more alignemnt with 3GPP rules from Rel-15. This would also mean that both Charging and OAM CRs would not be distinguishable.
